Terms and conditions

Last updated: August 2026. For using plens.de and purchasing digital media via the platform.

1. Scope

These terms apply to plens.de and to contracts for digital media (photos/videos) and related services between recipients and the respective creator. plens provides the technical platform. Individual creator checkout notes (e.g. tax notices) apply in addition unless they conflict with these terms.

2. Platform and parties

plens.de is operated by M. Eren (see imprint). Creators are independent photographers/videographers. The purchase contract for digital media is between you and the creator whose shooting ID/media you buy. plens facilitates technical processing and may route payments via Stripe Connect.

3. Services

A purchase typically covers the digital file and the agreed usage rights as shown in the cart (e.g. “Photo and usage rights”). Delivery is digital — after successful payment by email with download link. Free media may be downloadable in the viewer where allowed.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are in euros. Unless the creator states otherwise (checkout note), the displayed amounts apply. Payment is via Stripe Checkout where available; otherwise as a purchase request handled later by the creator. Card data is not stored on plens.

5. Delivery

After successful payment you receive the purchased photos and videos by email with full-quality download links. Links usually remain valid until the shooting is deleted. A full invoice can be issued on request.

6. Usage rights

You receive the usage rights granted by the creator for the file. Without express agreement, redistribution, commercial exploitation or editing beyond the private/agreed purpose is not permitted. Copyright remains with the creator/rights holder unless otherwise agreed.

7. Tips

Tips are voluntary and not a supply of goods. They are credited to the creator. A distance-selling right of withdrawal typically does not apply.

8. Withdrawal

For digital content and customised services see the cancellation policy. Once digital delivery begins with your consent, the right of withdrawal for that content ends.

9. User duties

Do not misuse the platform, submit unlawful content or share login credentials. Creators are responsible for their own media and statements.

10. Liability

plens is liable for the technical operation of the platform under applicable law. Creators are liable for their content and services. Liability for slight negligence is limited — where legally allowed — to foreseeable, typical damages; mandatory liability remains unaffected.

11. Privacy

12. Final provisions

German law applies, excluding CISG, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules. If any clause is invalid, the rest remains in force. Venue for merchants is Braunschweig where permitted by law.
